2. Why do we need rights in a democracy?

Answer: Rights are very essential in a democracy. We need rights in a democracy for the following reasons.
     i) Rights help us to express our feelings.
     ii) Rights safeguard the interests f the minority from the domination of the majority.
     iii) The rights of citizens prevent the government from doing whatever they want.
     iv) Rights help us to live a dignified life.
